Remit Collective

Billing desk for unpaid invoices

Year

Since 2026

Vision

A billing desk that works to end unpaid invoices, so small businesses get paid what they are owed for the work they delivered.

Problem

Work gets delivered and invoiced, and some of that money never arrives. Following up is awkward and easy to drop, so revenue that was already earned is simply lost.

Solution

Remit Collective starts by recovering unpaid invoices on contingency: the business keeps 90% of what is collected and pays nothing otherwise. The broader goal is a subscription desk that would follow up on every invoice from the day it is sent, so none is left to age.

remitcollective.com, running live: forward your worst unpaid invoice; if it is collected you keep 90%, otherwise you pay nothing. Why invoices stay unpaid, how the billing desk works, the numbers, what qualifies, and answers to common questions.

How the billing desk works. Intake takes the invoice, the client thread and the owner's rules: the minimum, payment plans, how firm to get and whether to approve messages. A case memory records every case, payer, message and outcome. A recovery path is set for each case within the owner's rules, weighing the amount, the invoice's age, the relationship, the payer's payment cycle, reply history, kept promises, industry and size, and setting timing, frequency, channel, tone and moves. Follow-up goes out as the business's own billing desk, reviewed by a person: replies answered, payment plans, amounts within the minimum, and any legal step left to the owner. The client pays the business directly and the fee is 10% of what is recovered. Learning, planned, refines the formula for the next case and feeds the next recovery path.
