Vision

A prompt recall button for every AI chat, starting with ChatGPT.

Problem

A prompt sent to ChatGPT cannot be taken back. Stopping the answer leaves a wrong prompt in the chat, influencing every reply after it.

Solution

A Chrome extension running locally that allows users to recall a prompt after they hit send and take it back before ChatGPT sees it.

Like Gmail’s Undo Send. But for ChatGPT. UndoGPT gives you a Prompt Recall feature so you can take back your messages before they get fully processed. ChatGPT's message box. The pointer hovers the grey R, a "Prompt Recall" label appears, and a click turns the R black, switching the feature on.

Stop vs. recall

Two timelines of a sent prompt. With the Stop button, the prompt is processed and the answer is cut short, so the prompt stays in the chat. With Prompt Recall, the prompt is taken back before it is processed.
